I’ll be honest. I did not really know anything about Judy Garland’s life. Stories that hone in on a particular time in an individual‘s life can be very telling and more interesting than going through their entire life story. Judy is another example of that with a few flashbacks to add layers of context. Great job by Renée Zellweger as I didn’t even know it was her until about 10 to 15 minutes into the movie.
