Oh so much Bay-ism! The Armageddon fan in me was Bay-yond excited. The slow motion hyper realized action sequences were Bay-mazing! By the end I can see why the kid in me loved Bay-verse movies (The Rock is still perfect) but I can also see how the adult in me became jaded with the unnecessary and unrelenting Bayness of it all. So at the end of the day if I look through my rose colored glasses and lean left (in slow motion with the military rolling behind me in full force) it’s a 4-star movie all the way. If I take them off it’s a 2-star movie. So let’s just agree to split the difference.
