This movie took me back to the horror movies I saw as a kid (and by kid I would say more middle school and high school). It’s not overly complex but it has a VERY creepy villain and the appropriate jump scares. Entertaining and a perfect watch during the Halloween season.
I only wish they had taken the opportunity to cast a Latina as the mother. Casting a white-woman just felt forced.
